Regional Sales Manager

Function

 

We are currently hiring for Regional Sales Managers located in Chicago, IL and California - other nearby locations may also be considered.

 

The Regional Sales Manager - will be responsible for managing Barco Channel Partner teams including distributor sales and marketing, Independent Manufactures Representative organizations and Resellers / Integrators with a primary focus on Corporate AV products. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Define and executing partner sales plans. Set-up Quarterly Business Plan (QBP) and Quarterly Marketing Plan (QMP).
  • Manage and be the main point of contact (SPOC) for existing or new channel partners within the defined Region.
  • Work with Marketing and Channel Marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to current and new Channel Partners
  • Drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training and support.
  • Create systems and procedures to streamline partner management
  • Manage the RFP / RFQ, special prices processes.
  • Joint visits, together with the local sales team, to Value Added Resellers or Corporate Resellers or any identified potential managed reseller key account.
  • Responsible for calling on end users, resellers and working with Rep Firms and Distributors
  • A dedicated team player with long term expectations who loves to demonstrate and talk about technology with “all in” closing skills.
  • Providing weekly reporting of pipeline and forecast.

 

Requirements

 

  • Degree in business, economics, marketing, engineering or equivalent by experience
  • 5 years experience in indirect sales, market/business development, in the Pro AV Industry
  • Specific experience with Projection, LED, Image Processing, LCD Walls, Wireless Collaboration and other unified communications products
  • Specific Market knowledge in House of Worship, Education, Venues and Museums and Corporate Enterprise Accounts.
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the channel sales cycle.
  • Strong relationship skills
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation
  • Extensive influencing and people skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Up to 50% travel is required
