Key Responsibilities 

  •  Ability to configure/troubleshoot the following equipment: Multi-camera video switching systems including but not limited to: Barco S3, S3 Jr and E2, DLP and DLP and LCD type video/data projectors (Christie, Barco) and projection screens, widescreen blends, matrix routers, monitors and various digital video players/ recording devices and LED Walls
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and client portal
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Handle and resolve customer questions, issues and complaints according to required service levels
  • Identify and escalate priority issues
  • Follow-up with clients where necessary
  • Complete call logs and reports

 

We are looking for a new colleague who has

 

  • Associates degree in IT or Electronics and/or equivalent training
  • 2-3 years of experience as technical services product support
  • Experience troubleshooting image processing, video, and projection systems
  • Experience supporting live entertainment events
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a non-scripted technical support environment
  • Familiarity and/or demonstrated comfort level using call center and ERP tools
  • Final escalation point with responsibility for resolution
  • Experience in troubleshooting proprietary systems with limited documentation
  • Exceptional customer relation skills with reliable judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to get things done
  • Ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability and motivation to take initiative as an advocate of our customers to others
  • Ability to clearly communicate actions necessary and influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders on behalf of the customer
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with many different teams and cultures
  • Self-starter with pride of ownership
  • Ability to maintain high standards with little supervision
  • Capability to handle medium to high levels of stress and retain resilience
  • An ability to produce quality deliverables

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Ability to configure and understand basic IP networks
  • Availability to take calls afterhours, nights and weekends as needed to support live shows
  • Ability to use and understand various types of schematics and/or service manuals
  • Knowledge of video formats and their interfaces’ capabilities
  • Experience using single and multi-screen A/V switching systems
  • Electronics experience
  • Multilingual
