Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Barco Healthcare’s imaging technologies at hospitals, health systems, and end-user accounts
- Achieve regional sales targets and manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle
- Perform product demonstrations at clinical sites, highlighting clinical, operational, and financial benefits
- Communicate the company’s value proposition effectively to key stakeholders, including Directors and Chiefs of Radiology, Clinical IT, and Purchasing teams
- Prospect and evaluate opportunities, conduct product presentations, negotiate contracts, and support customers through purchasing decisions
- Build new customer relationships while maintaining and developing existing accounts
- Present technical product features, benefits, and attributes to different healthcare audiences
- Provide sales support to value-added resellers, distributors, integrated solution providers, and OEM partners
- Develop and execute regional business plans, including strategic account segmentation
Your Profile
- Experience in healthcare IT and capital equipment sales is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a complex sales environment
- Experience engaging with physicians as part of a sales process
- Proven and documented track record of achieving sales targets
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Formal sales training (e.g. Miller Heiman, SPIN Selling) is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent communication, phone, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to present technical products effectively
- Willingness to travel up to 70% for customer visits, tradeshows, and internal meetings
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
