Territory Sales Manager DACH: Control Rooms

 

Function

 

Due to our continued growth, Barco is expanding its worldwide sales organization. 
We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record to join our sales team as Territory Manager for DACH market.

Purpose of the function is to prospect, identify and develop control rooms solution related opportunities in targeted markets and accounts. Build a network, Develop & Maintain relationship with partners, system integrators, end users & consultants in order to detect and influence the opportunities at an early stage.  Maintain relationship with partners and enable them for promoting Barco solutions on respective markets next to growing partner base to optimize market potential with Barco portfolio 
You will interact with the different local (large) system integrators, consultants and end- users.
The candidate we are looking for will be dynamic, enthusiastic, hard- working, tech-savvy and self- motivated. 
Equally as important: you will be willing to contribute to, and share in the fun that goes with our continued success.
 


Key responsibilities

 

  • You cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the local partners, consultants and end-users to maximize Barco’s reach and presence on the market.
  • You are a trusted advisor on the Control Rooms solutions and related technologies.
  • You manage processes for creating quotes, managing sales cycle in CRM, developing and negotiating proposals, and commercial agreements. Likewise, you track business opportunities and performance of the sales funnel in addition to providing regular forecasting, market intelligence and competitive analysis to sales management , segment marketing and product management 
  • You identify and introduce new customers and opportunities to the local partners
  • You maintain and grow business with existing customers, both directly and in conjunction with the local partner network 
  • You maximize opportunity conversion rate by supporting local partners and customers through the different sales stages
  • You support growth in addressing new markets and customers and increase Barco Share of wallet by introducing Barco solutions.
  • You assist and participate in trade shows and events within the region
  • You translate customer needs into Barco solutions and offerings
  • You provide regular forecasting, market intelligence and competitive analysis
  • You participate in regular training from Barco HQ in Belgium and proactively deliver product training / updates to the local partners.
  • You are flexible for international travel, depending on the various types of business developed in the region
  • You adopt a disciplined and organised approach in regards to his travel, CRM pipeline management and lead answers.  
  • You are used to work in a matrix environment. You can effectively work across organisational and national boundaries.  


We are looking for a Barco employee with

 

  • A University degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • The ability to combine commercial and technical skills whereby continuous learning is key. 
  • A self-assured and outgoing personality with the ability and adaptability to work practically, reliably and flexibly, without the need for on-going support. 
  • A proven track record in technology and solution sales
  • Strong commercial interest and understanding of the market
  • Experiences in understanding and selling solutions including Software and Services
  • Spotless integrity and professionalism
  • German as mother tongue, Ability to work effectively with English as language, spoken and written
