Working Student (m/f/d) Software Development / System Engineering

Barco designs technology that makes everyday life a little better. Seeing beyond the image, we develop sight, sound, and sharing solutions to help you work together, share insights, and wow audiences. Our focus is on three core markets: Enterprise (from meeting and control rooms to corporate spaces), Healthcare (from the radiology department to the operating room), and Entertainment (from movie theaters to live events and attractions). With a team of over 3,300 employees, located all around the globe, we realized sales of 770.01 million euro in 2020.

You will be part of an agile R&D team working in a modern environment on the development of high-end software products for video wall applications. Your team will be located in Karls-ruhe/Germany with strong relationship to the Barco headquarters in Belgium and our development site in India.

One of the key strengths of our products are their powerful APIs. To help our partners and cus-tomers take advantage of those APIs, we offer a Software Development Kit (SDK). We plan to complement that SDK with a System Simulator. Developers will use that Simulator to run their code against our APIs on their Laptop, without having a full-blown installation of our System at their desk. Your task will be to design and implement this web-based System Simulator.
