Creative Content Marketeer

Function
 
As a content executive you are in charge of all global content and marketing collateral to create effective communication campaigns for both online, social and offline channels for the education segment (WeConnect, WePresent & Overture).
 
In this role you will have 2 main responsibilities: Product Communication & Content Marketing. You will report to the Brand Content & Marketing Manager.
 
Key Responsibilities
 

  • Product communication: you write and coordinate the creation of all communication & campaign pieces, such as brochures, web pages, ads, creative concepts etc. You are also responsible for organizing product photo or video shoots.
  • Content marketing: you develop and execute the content marketing strategy and build the corresponding content calendar. You establish Barco as a thought leader for relevant topics through interviews and research.
  • Social media: you manage the Education social media channels
  • SEO: you incorporate SEO best practices in all online activities and strive to increase SEO ranking.
  • Content ROI: you keep track of the success of created content pieces, generate insights (together with the program expert) and provide recommendations.
  • Branding: you contribute to a consistent Barco brand, both in messaging and visual identity.

 
We are looking for a new colleague who
 

  • Has a Master’s degree in English or equivalent by experience.
  • Ideally has 5+ years in copywriting and editing, messaging and positioning related to marketing communication, including writing for web and SEO.
  • Is well organized and a skilled project manager who delivers against promise.
  • Can sell your ideas to peers and to stakeholders.
  • Has an inquisitive mind and can take initiative to build a network, guide research etc.
  • Is familiar with content marketing, value messaging and inbound marketing.
  • Has experience with online tools such as Google Analytics, Semrush, Sitecore is a plus.
  • Experience in an international and technology/B2B environment is a plus.
