EMEA Field Marketing Manager

Function
 
As EMEA Field Marketing Manager you contribute to your market(s) growth by building, implementing, measuring, learning and optimizing the marketing plan for the solutions portfolio of a specific segment. You know like no other what your market and partners require and how to optimize the performance of spend.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 

  • You define and implement the marketing plan for your market, in line with sales & growth objectives for your region; 
  • You cover the broad scope of marketing activities/campaigns, including events, media & PR, AdWords, online / social advertising, digital marketing, market research, …; 
  • You manage / contribute to all channel marketing activities, with a strong focus on channel communication and lead generation. You are the liaison with the channel marketing team and leverage channel in the Go-To-Market strategy to scale broadly;
  • You manage the end-to-end lead process, constantly looking at ways to improve the intake and conversion of the lead funnel;
  • You become the subject matter expert for your market(s): you understand the market & customer needs and feed these insights to headquarters to ensure the region’s future performance; You align with and secure buy-in from multiple stakeholders, including sales and HQ segment marketing;
  • You regularly report on campaign success and business contribution;
  • You will manage the field marketing budget assigned to you.

 


We are looking for a new colleague who
 

  • Has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally with a marketing or business-oriented focus.
  • Has 8 to 15 years of marketing experience with strong background in demand generation.
  • Has experience in an industry that requires a complex B2B sales process utilizing distribution channels, system integrators and value-added resellers.
  • Is familiar with working in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrates a strong business acumen, combined with a customer- and market driven orientation.
  • Has excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Shows an in-depth understanding of key business metrics; ready for data-driven sales & marketing approach.
  • Is apt to design and deliver (channel) marketing programs resulting in high ROI.
  • Has both solid strategic insights and strong action focus.
  • Can be described as energetic, self-starter and result oriented.
  • Has a strong working knowledge of MS Office tools and the common CRM systems (such as SAP CRM, Salesforce). Experience with marketing automation platforms is a plus.
