Frontend Web Developer

For one of our agile software teams in Barco Software group we are looking for a frontend developer with affinity for devops and automation to help us bring our top of the line products to the next level with cloud connectivity and through data-driven, cloud-based solutions and services! Help us bring fleet management for our projectors from the Barco entertainment division (device status, issue notification, usage history and remote diagnosis etc...) to the next level.
Key responsibilities
  • Development and maintenance of user-facing elements (web client) and integration with server side logic.
  • Writing reusable, testable, efficient and maintainable (typescript) code and writing the automated tests for your code.
  • Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
Your profile
  • You have hands-on web front-end development experience with Javascript/typescript.
    • Experience with Angular
    • Experience with HTML5 and CSS
  • You have good analytical skills and an eye for detail and quality.
  • You have good communication & problem solving skills.
  • You provide detailed and constructive design and code reviews.
  • You have good knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • You are able to work in close collaboration with fellow developers, product owner and product manager and like to share your ideas and knowledge.
  • You have experience and understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • You think from a user perspective and keep the UI simple and intuitive to use.
