Internship - IT Service Delivery

About the Role 

As an IT Service Delivery Intern, you will join our handson support team responsible for ensuring smooth daily IT operations for Barco employees. You’ll gain reallife experience in enduser support, PC lifecycle handling, IT asset management, and working with modern enterprise tooling. This internship is ideal for students interested in service desk operations, endpoint management, and IT infrastructure fundamentals. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform PC installations via Intune, following internal standards and procedures.  
  • Execute updates and basic troubleshooting on PCs.  
  • Support PC preparation for lifecycle steps such as decommissioning (“close the gap”), wiping devices, removing labels, and documenting actions. 
  • Help with PC deliveries and follow up on scheduled tasks alongside Service Engineers. 

 

What You Will Learn 

  • Working with enterprise IT management tools such as Intune and ServiceNow (ticketing & request workflows). 
  • Applying ITIL-based practices in a real IT Service Delivery environment (incident handling, SLA thinking). 
  • Practical skills in hardware handling, imaging, troubleshooting, and asset lifecycle management. 
  • How an IT Service Delivery team collaborates with other IT domains (Infra, Networking, SecOps, Digital Workplace).  

 

Profile We’re Looking For 

  • You are studying IT Support, System & Network Management, Informatics, or equivalent. 
  • You enjoy handson work with hardware and structured processes. 
  • You are eager to learn, customeroriented, and organized. 
  • You have a positive, proactive attitude — matching our Service Delivery mindset.
