Mechanical Engineer - Virtual Reality Projects

As Mechanical Engineer in the Virtual Experience R&D team, you are designing state-of-the-art custom mechanical systems to be used in different Virtual Reality solutions

These solutions can vary from modular higher volume ones, to very big and complex one-offs. 



Key responsibilities:

  • You design the custom mechanical systems for our customer projects, based on technical proposals provided by our Solution Architects
  • You assure the quality of your designs. Meaning your design is on-time, in-full, and at the foreseen cost.
  • You'll be actively involved in the complete customer process: from pre-sales discussions, over designing to installation and acceptance of the system. In case of complex systems, it might be needed to lead the installation of you system on site at the customer
  • You collaborate and share information with your team members and other stakeholders involved in the customer projects
  • You will closely cooperate with the Senior mech designers in the team



Your profile

  • You are a young Mechanical engineer 
  • You have some experience with any mechanical design SW
  • You are a team player who collaborates easily both within the team as with the other stakeholders (technical vs non technical)
  • You like innovation and love to work on challenging projects
  • You can handle combining multiple tasks for multiple projects in parallel, sometimes changing in priorities
  • You are willing to travel on an occasional basis, mainly to assist with complex installations at the customer site (world wide) if needed
  • You can fluently communicate in English, both written and spoken.
