Product Marketing Manager Surgical

As part of the growing Surgical Imaging division of Barco, you will be responsible for all launch activities and value messaging of the Surgical displays and Nexxis platform, with a focus on SaaS proposition and sales enablement.

You have a deep understanding of the value our products deliver to the customers and the target segments. You assure that product marketing activities are aligned with global marketing and field marketing activities and that they support objectives and the division’s proposition.  

You are also responsible to develop sales enablement tools for our partners (eg configuration guides, solution selling packs, training content, …)


You work with a cross-functional team of segment leaders, product managers and communications specialists to convey the value proposition of your products.

Key Responsibilities


  • You own product lifetime (hardware & software) communications, from launch to end-of-life/end-of-service;
  • You develop, project manage and implement innovative launch programs and enable the channel and regional teams to be successful. (Launch plan, gathering and facilitate the marketing journey to ensure successful impact);
  • You develop product collateral/tools, aligned closely with segment marketing and the product managers, that communicate the product value proposition to different stakeholders;
  • You work with product managers and segment marketing to create segment solution marketing tools and content to enable sales and our channel partners;
  • You own the global marketing plan for the surgical imaging products, aligned with the division’s plan;
  • You are a product subject matter expert resource for the field marketing teams;
  • In your sales enablement role you measure the sales enablement activities to quantify the impact and success of materials and the overall program and update where necessary. In light of this you keep all contents up-to-date;
  • Also in your sales enablement role you establish processes and tools to promote the program to all internal stakeholders.



We are looking for a new colleague who


  • Has obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and has at least 5 years of relevant marketing experience in commercial settings for B2B products and solutions; 
  • Has more specifically experience and knowledge of marketing methodologies, product launch, value messaging and sales enablement;
  • Is familiar with the SaaS model and added value services solution;
  • Is passionate about grasping and translating technical capabilities into customer benefits;
  • Demonstrates excellent presentation and communications skills (oral, written and visual);
  • Is creative and inventive, with a hands-on and self-starter attitude;
  • Shows an international mindset and strong interpersonal skills to team up with a variety of stakeholders and regions;
  • Can manage a project and drive a cross-functional team towards completion.
