Software Program Manager

Key responsibilities

  • Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress, throughout the program lifecycle track the delivery plan 
  • Defining the program governance and coordinating the interdependencies 
  • Coordinating risks and corrective measurements and streamlining stakeholder communication


Dependencies-stakeholder management

  • Drive alignment between business-centric IT and the product-centric programs 
  • Production, supply chain and procurement 
  • Legal, privacy, security and green office 
  • Service, product management, IT Third-party partners 
  • High-level management communication 
  • Each functional discipline has a representative within the related program team


Key deliverables

  • Program status reporting
  • Sharing program integration plan, time-based dependencies overview c.q. end-to-end system view 
  • Drive outside-in dependencies to program delivery 
  • Tracking scope-, quality-, time delivery


Key metrics

  • Scope delivery: delivered story points
  • Timely tracking progress: organizing scope agreements and delivery, facilitate decision moments
  • Tracking quality progress: all unacceptable issue solved before release 
  • Budget tracking: continuous update BOM- and investment

  • Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
