Software Team Lead

As we continue to expand our software capabilities and strive for greater efficiency and innovation, the need for a SW leader within our healthcare application development team is vital. The role of the SW Leader will be crucial in overseeing the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our critical applications. This individual will play a pivotal role in aligning our technical strategies with our business objectives, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team. The Software Leader will lead the SW team and collaborate with a cross-functional and international development team to deliver medical software products.

Key Responsibilities 

In addition to the above, you will also be:

• Responsible for supporting the development team in understanding and explaining the 'WHAT' and 'HOW’
• Responsible for supporting the organization to hire a balanced and future proof R&D Team
• Accountable for the performance and incremental improvements of his/her R&D Teams
• Responsible for competency management: Talent Growth & Development, Training/learning (Technical & Non-Technical)
• Accountable & Responsible for new technology introduction as competency technology lead
• Accountable for R&D Processes & Tools utilized by the team

Your Profile

• 3+ years team management experience
• 10+ years of experience in related field for bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in related field for master’s degree, prefer major in Computer Software Engineering or equivalent.

Competencies

 Proven experience of managing teams between 5-10 people or above for a minimum of 3 years

• Excellent fluency in English communication
• Proficient on medical software design
• Experience with Agile development Methodology (SCRUM) and real practice in business
• Industrial experience in leading team for system architectural level
• Self-motivated and result oriented, autonomous worker, team player
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good communication skills.
• Coaching and mentoring colleagues
• Working experience with geographically distributed teams (Europe, US and China)
• Open to travel for short duration
   

Skills nice to have

• PMI, Agile PMI-ACP, SAFe, LeSS or Scrum Master certification
• Experience with performance optimization, scalability, and security.
• Experience in developing accessible technologies
• Experience in hands-on R&D career
  • C++11, C++14, Java Script, Python, QT, qml
