Product Marketing Manager Control Rooms (Hardware & Software)

Barco is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to enforce the marketing team focusing on video wall solutions, controllers, and software for Control Rooms. 

As a Solution Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for all product and solution launches as well as product marketing activities relevant for the Control Rooms market. You will work with a cross-functional team of segment leaders, product managers, sales enablement experts, and communications specialists to communicate the value proposition of your products and solutions, and map them to the customer journeys – both towards end users and AV resellers/integrators.



Key responsibilities
•    You will be responsible for the messaging and positioning of your products and solutions, aligned closely with the segment marketing and the product management teams. Goal is to differentiate your products and solutions in the concrete solution/application market. 
•    You develop, manage, and implement innovative launch programs to drive demand and enable the regional field marketing teams to be successful.
•    You assist in defining, monitoring, and supporting the go-to-market strategy and the channel strategy aligned with your colleagues of segment marketing and the regional sales and marketing teams. 
•    You track the market and competition for insights and will deliver thought leading content via events, blogs, eBooks, and other collaterals. 
•    You guide the development of tools that communicate the product and solution value propositions to different stakeholders.
•    You build up appropriate level knowledge of your products & solutions and a good knowledge of your target segments including route to market strategies


Your profile
●    You have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in business and/or marketing, combined with at least an experience of 5 years in product marketing for B2B products and solutions or 4 years in marketing B2B solutions.
●    You are fluent in English and have excellent presentation and communications skills (oral, written and visuals) demonstratable through online video posts and works.
●    You are willing to travel 20% of your time, worldwide.
●    You have a hands-on experience with marketing methodologies, marketing mix, value messaging, thought leadership.
●    You are comfortable with technical products and able to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer value propositions. You are ready to build up deep customer & product know-how.
●    You have experience with different go-to-market channel models including 2 tier models.
●    You have experience in running value proposition development workshops based on industry-leading models with different persona representatives, collating feedback, and finalizing a finished product/solution value proposition framework.
●    Your interpersonal skills enable you to successfully team with a variety of stakeholders and regions, you can manage a project and drive a cross-functional team towards completion.
●    You have a high attention to detail, an eye for quality, a strong outcome focus, and are entrepreneurial in your approach to get things done.
