Supply Chain Manager

Key responsibilities:

Barco Surgical Modality is looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager to plan the supply towards our customers by ensuring on-time-in-full deliveries, with a minimum need of cash and costs.
You will have a pivotal role in the interaction between the Customer, Sales teams and Operations/Suppliers, globally spread. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Lead in Healthcare, who oversees the world-wide supply chain activities.

 

In this role:

  • you lead the S&OP cycle, recommend changes to business or strategic plans as a result of these process outputs;
  • you align the business unit strategies, and translate these in supply chain targets, such as OTIF, lead time and inventory levels;
    • you set the inventory policies for components, finished products and spare parts, based upon supply chain metrics which meet business and customer requirements (service level, lead-time);
  • you deliver “ad-hoc best for Barco” solutions in case of planning deviations with supply risks (supply shortages, demand changes,  NPI, PLM or EOL changes),  by working closely with all internal stakeholders;
  • you are in direct contact with customer & Supplier related to your product range
    • Supply chain models and agreements
  • you manage different Projects, from funneling, set-up and execution (multi-disciplinair, outside of BU)
    • EDI or VMI with customers, SAP configurator, etc
    • Production or logistical transitions
  • you structure the execution follow-up and identify gaps – connecting the dots;
  • you plan and manage the inventory, using inputs of Demand and Production Planners;
    • you coordinate the reduction programs of slow and nonmoving inventories;
    • you prepare and follow up LTB notifications with impact on inventory;
  • you represent Supply Chain in NPI projects and in the incubators, including Material Data creation;
  • you monitor the supply chain KPI tree and lead corrective actions where necessary;
  • you coach and develop supply chain colleagues in (overseas) locations to ensure best practices adherences in supply chain operations.
