Business Development Representative

An individual  with background in Radiology, Biomedical Engineering  or other professional experience related to the healthcare sector, preferably with experience as a commercial executive or medical equipment sales executive (not exclusive), is needed for the position of Business Development Representative, Health Care covering Mexico.  The target customers are primarily diagnostic imaging equipment and operating rooms.

The profile of the position is aimed at a professional with motivation to develop the creation of new medical equipment sales businesses, and to promote the market through contacts and field visits in the public and private sector.


Responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with end users, radiologists, clinics and hospitals to promote and demonstrate Barco solutions
  • Creation of new businesses by implementing a B2B strategy for your region
  • Gathering of business prospects as well as maintaining relationships and establishing projections
  • Application of commercial intelligence strategy, through information channels and personal relationship with clients
  • Maintain a high level of satisfaction and communication with customers and prospects / contacts
  • Project a professional image of Barco and it’s products / brands
  • Maintain up to date information on prospects
  • Influence and negotiate in decision-making; influence the experience of referring agents


Principal functions:

  • High level negotiation for sales success.
  • Permanent visits to clients and prospects to strengthen the relationship
  • Presentation of technological advances of the commercialized brand to the market in general.
  • Raise the business prospects of the national market.
  • Raise the map of opportunities using business intelligence tools and tools for public use.
  • Create traceability in the network of contacts and influences.
  • Plan demonstrations and be a participant in the equipment demonstration experience.
  • Lead the process of submitting public proposals through the public market platform.
  • Relate with business partners to detail the state of the market and its needs.
  • A detailed study of the competition, and its technological scope for the planning or modification of comparative strategy.


The candidate must have the availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Experience is required in technological tools including CRM, Microsoft Office, Teams

Applicants must have an intermediate level of reading and conversation in English.

Salary proposal is composed of base salary and participation of commissions according to the market as well as other extra-legal benefits.
