Facility & Business Support Coordinator

The Facility and Business Project Coordinator will spend 50% on facility/office management and 50% on Business project coordination.


Key Responsibilities:

Facility Coordination Tasks

1. To provide an attractive, clean, accessible, safe and well planned environment to help employees to work in an optimal conditions, with regard to maerial and physical comfort, in line with the goals of Barco.

2. Advise local management on EHS legislation and implementation

3. Audit EHS programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations and local conditions.

4. Project Management: planning and follow up on the achievements within projects

5. Vendor/supplier contract management: tecnhical noegoitation with the possilbe suppliers and administration of the maintenace contracts.

6. Develop good professional relationships with different stakeholders in the organization.  Communication and negotiation are crucial facotr to sucess.

7. Cost effectiveness is one of the key objective for the Facility managment part.


R&D Support Coordination Tasks

1. large or with external partner meetings : agenda, presentation consolidation, meetingroom and further pre- and post-meeting accommodation set-up. Communication on alignment with all stakeholders pre- and post-meeting.

2. Holiday tracking and coordinating for R&D Leadership Team

3. Specific tasks related to support of Site and R&D Director : expenses processing, agenda arrangements, travel arrangements,…

4. Assist other PA’s from Belgium for local event arrangements where needed as proxy in Barco Taiwan

5. Coordinate dedicated concise R&D based support projects as they emerge and are within your competency : eg. quality management based initiatives,…

  • Internal Communication Management - Keep present and up-to-date all social media channels of TDC :
    • MS Teams
    • LinkedIn
    • Send out Monthly on time Newsletter as editor-in-chief : pro-active work with contributors, creatively keep the reader enticed, conduct interviews, etc.
    • Video Communication “clips” requested by GEAX, APAC , MX or ENP : create and coordinate

6. Organise All Staff meetings and other related all staff events.



1. Bachelor or master degree or equivalent by experience

2. 3 years or above relevant EHS/office management experience.  Have EHS related certification is a plus

3. 3 years Project Management related experience 

4. Team player with good communicaiton and negotiation skill
