Within the Software.IT (SW.IT) organization, you will be a member of the China/Global IT Infrastructure & Operations team that ensures the operations and security of our IT system, more specifically within the China region you will be responsible for:

Main Responsibility:

  1. Work closely with the China IT team, maintaining IT infrastructure for Suzhou plant including networking, servers, storage and backup system.
  2. Providing 1st line (L1) and part of L2 support to Suzhou plant, delivery efficient and comprehensive IT service to business team for a variety of IT related PC problems and application issues.
  3. Participate in follow-the-sun 24/7 L1 support and stand-by.
  4. Managing and escalating Incident and change orders, investigating tickets in search of the root cause and the solution, resolving tickets within SLA’s and monitoring SLA breaches.
  5. Coordination with global infrastructure and service delivery team on project implementation and supporting process.
  6. Creates and updates work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve the teams’ knowledge through knowledge management.
  7. Ensuring IT service and operations in compliance by following policies and procedures.
  8. Assist team leader to manage demands and requirements from production and R&D labs.
  9. Support IT security operations team in managing vulnerabilities, patching, security incidents and compliance.
  10. IT asset purchasing and management, budget planning and vendor management.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, computer and science or engineering
  2. 5+ years of progressive experience in supporting manufacturing site as various roles of IT service engineer, IT Infrastructure engineer, IT Infrastructure architect or IT team leader.
  3.  
  4. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and network infrastructures.
  5. Good knowledge of practical networking skills with switch configuration, WIFI setup, firewall operations, and recovery procedures.
  6. Knowledge of Microsoft AD, Azure AD, Multi-Factor Authentication, Office 365
  7. Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to solve complex technical problems.
  8. Good communication skills in English, reading, speaking and writing skills enough to work with people from global team.
  9. Proactive approach to IT system management and end user support.
  10. Able to work independently and with a team under high pressure.
  11. Basic knowledge of VMWare, vSphere, ESX Server, Networker.
  12. Basic knowledge of ITIL principles.
