Production Engineer

Position Description:

1. Review & Feedback to RD for products design with regard to design rules & DFM required.
2. Follow up to support product sample (Alfa & Beta samples) & lead small-lot production as member of new project team to ensure the new product release into mass production smoothly.
3. Design/Order/Install/Verify specific tooling when product needed.
4. Align with Belgium & local team to validate & maintain new process & equipment.
5. Develop work instructions & other necessary docs needed for new product, and training to production team.
6. Participate & Lead new production line set up & improve line layout when needed.
7. Work together with Production, QA and R&D to resolve technical issues on the products.
8. Support production to achieve the critical KPI like FPY, capacity.
9. Define possible improvements of production processes in order to decrease the overall product cost and to improve the performance/reliability of products.
10. Other tasks assigned by the team leader.

Education:

• Bachelor degree (or above) in Engineering.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experiences.

Competencies:

• Good Knowledge of technologies (stamping, molding, pneumatic, motor drives, etc.)
• Experience on the process of new product development.
• Rich Experience skills on mechanical design using like Pro-E /Creo, Solidworks, etc.
• Fluent in English communication.
• Good experience of validation for tools/process.
• Analytical thinking & Positive initiative.
• Strong personality able to convince, influence & push back or escalate where needed.
• Good anti-pressure ability & self-adaptability.
