Production Engineering Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead PE team towards achieving company and department objectives.
• Develop and maintain high-caliber PE staff appropriate to business circumstances.
• Lead and supervise Process Engineer to meet project transfer and NPI schedule.
• Lead and monitor the PE activities on continuous improvement of process yield and efficiency to interface with customers in order to understand all technical requirements for all aspects.
• Work together with Production, QA and R&D to resolve technical issues on the product.
• Define and manage maintenance plan of equipment to secure production continuity.
• Provide guidelines to engineer for the design and process related jigs and fixtures. 
• Manage engineering team by providing solution and timely problem-solving for the daily business.
• Conduct kaizen and lean activity to support iGema.
• Support Global for the standard system development.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

• Above 8 years in manufacturing support or developmental role in continuous manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years experience as engineering leader or above.
• Experience in display industry is preferred.

Competencies:

• Strong project management abilities.
• Rich experience of team management and coaching. Be able to influence & inspire team member.
• Able to manage and execute multiple, complex tasks and deal with work pressure.
• Solid experience on mechanical design with one of the professional software’s like Pro-E /Creo, AutoCAD, etc.
• Good Communication skills and English abilities both in oral & written.
• Analytical thinking with self-initiatives & positive working attitude.
• Good concept on automation for manufacturing process.
• Good concept and thinking on continuous improvement.
