Senior Electronic Design Engineer, Healthcare China

The role will work with a cross-functional program team to deliver cost innovative medical display/computer products for the China market. This position masters the practical application of engineering principals, achieves expertise in Electronics Engineering, and investigates new techniques as part of a team. 


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Responsible for product specifiction definition, system level architect, customer technical issue facing etc.
  2. Responsible for key components design - circuit board design for medical displays, include video processing, back light driving and power regulating design, following the common guidelines and best practices and within the constraints: time, cost, specification & quality targets.
  3. Perform system level,, including electronic/software/mechinical failure analysis, propose solutions for the technical problem to achieve design excellence.
  4. Prepare the documentation and reports of the relevant electronic design/module/sub-assembly as per the project plan.
  5. Ensure that the implementation confirms to the common guidelines and best practices.
  6. Other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.


Qualification & Competencies:


  • 10+ years of experience in electronic design or equivalent areas for Bachelor Degree or 7+ years of experience for Master Degree. Familiar with FHD to 4K display or computer design will be a plus.
  • Demonstrated strong design capabilities in power regulating circuit, signal integrity & EMC improvement. 
  • Proficient in using PCB design tools like Mentor Graphics or Cadence.
  • Familiar with MCU design. FPGA knowledge will be a plus.
  • Good English skill in writing and speaking.
  • Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Self-starter, result oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Familiar with PCB layout is a plus.
  • Familiar with medical standards i.e. IEC/UL/GB/FDA is a plus.
