Warehouse Leader

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure the timely execution of all warehousing activities, include but not limited to inventory management, (return) shipment of spare parts/finished goods/demo units/repair units, paper document preparation, etc.
  • Liaise with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers & 3rd party vendors to ensure timely & the most efficient warehousing arrangement & order delivery.
  • Manage the warehouse keepers for daily material receiving, storage, transit, goods delivery via FIFO method, secure the company assets & consigned materials & ensure the material supply for continuous daily production.
  • Be responsible for the material scrap, inventory cycle count, year-end stock taking, to ensure the inventory accuracy between the physical stock & SAP record.
  • Co-work with internal SCM teams to prepare traffic tenders and track quarterly KPIs with forwarders and 3PLs.
  • Be responsible for transportation arrangement when business model applies.
  • Act as an advisory role to the internal stakeholders to implement the optimized warehousing & shipping method to ensure the most cost effective operation.
  • Provide on-job training & manage daily performance of the warehouse team.
  • Learn EHS/AEO knowledge and follow the requirement.
  • Other tasks assigned by the SCM Manager.

 
Education: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, major in logistics management or related subject is a plus.

 

Experience & Competencies: 

 

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experiences & know how as warehouse/logistics leader in manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate good time management, assertiveness and flexibility.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin both written and spoken.
  • Customer-oriented, strong leadership and good team player.
  • Strong data analysis skill.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion.
  • Familiar with SAP system and WM system, EWMs is plus.
  • Warehouse movement/transfer experience is a plus.
