Function
 

Barco Healthcare is looking for an Account Manager to implement, promote and follow-up on Service Contracts with new and existing customers. We are looking for someone who will reinforce our team in Kortrijk but our customers are located globally. You’ll be in charge to start and maintain long term relationships with our customers. You’ll make sure that they have the best Maintenance and Support Contracts. As an Account Manager you’ll make sure that  the quality and the compliance with medical standards of our customers’ medical display systems are guaranteed at all times.

Key Responsibilities
 

As an Account Manager, you’ll be in charge for the service contracts for leading-edge medical imaging solutions for radiology, mammography, surgery and modality imaging, along with DICOM compliant review displays and mobile point of care devices.

 
  • You provide a set of excellent (remote) services to partners and end-customers which go beyond the standard warranty and break-fix support.
  • You make sure that the contractual agreed services are delivered within the SLA’s.
  • You start, deliver and execute long-term engagements with partners, as well as one-off professional services and this at an expert level. In other words, you’ll be the SPOC for your customers.
  • You contribute to generate service revenue and focus on billable time.
  • You become our technical expert in the healthcare domain as well as the turn-to person for all our customers.
  • You share your Customers Insights with our Product and Engineering teams to make sure to answer the demands and the needs of our customers.
  • You also escalate urgent technical problems and make sure these problems are resolved for your customers.


 

 

 

We are looking for a new colleague who

is a technical expert with commercial flair and persuasiveness
 
Competencies:
  • You have a Masters’ or bachelors’ degree in a technical domain (preferably in IT or Electronics)
  • You have preferably 5 years of experience in Healthcare (IT) in a Services-related field
  • You understand technology, processes and regulations used in hospitals, this both in medical systems and software environments (Radiology or/and Surgical)
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch, both oral and written
  • You have communication and training skills. You can communicate effectively with executive management, engineers and end-users in the medical world.
  • You are willing to travel within the EMEA region.
