To sustain our growth, we are looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager (EMEA)  for our RMM solution (Remote Monitoring & Management).
In a context where cloud technology opens up new opportunities through connectivity, remote management and analytics, the BDM RMM will be responsible for promoting our Overture RMM offering in EMEA in line with sales strategy and tactics.
The Barco Overture RMM SaaS solution is a generic and technology agnostic AV Remote Monitoring & Management (including control, actionable reporting and analytics), offered to large corporations and MSPs (Managed Services Providers)
You will report to the Worldwide Sales Leader for New and Learning Experience.  You will have a dotted line to the VP/GM responsible for New and Learning Experiences, where the RMM portfolio is designed and developed and be part of that management committee.
Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the Overture Solution primarily to MSPs (managed services providers) and to large corporations
  • Identify key territories and key accounts for growth and develop those
  • Prospect, identify and develop new sales opportunities:
  • Analyze the customers needs and provide the appropriate value proposition in return
  • Provide quotations in line with applicable pricing and other related commercial terms
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions in accordance with the guidelines and contract administration objectives
  • Keep up-to-date records in the company's CRM system
  • Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
  • Continuously test the RMM value proposition with prospects, exploring ways to enhance value for the prospect and Barco.
  • Interface and provide regular sales forecast and reports, as well as field feedback on marketing and product/services to sales and product/R&D leadership
  • Monitor technology and market factors and provide market intelligence
  • Facilitate and foster international working relations with US Business development counterparts



We are looking for a new colleague who
  • Has at least a Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering) or equivalent in combination of education and experience
  • Has at least 5 years  proven sales experience in related industry/technology, including experience with SaaS business models.
  • Shows strong sales and prospecting skills
  • Is a a fluent communicator: verbal, written and presentation
  • Is a real problem solver with a customer oriented approach
  • Communicates flawlessly in English. Knowledge of French and/or German is an important plus
  • is willing to travel on a regular basis (50%) in Europe primarily.
