Barco Healthcare is looking for a Business Development Manager to develop the European market for our sofware solution Synergi, which enables healthcare professionals in hospitals to prepare, conduct and follow-up multidisciplinary team meetings more efficiently, with greater flexibility and less administrative tasks.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • You promote the Synergi Solution, primarily to clinicians and IT executives at Healthcare institutions, enhance the brand image & brand recognition in the region.
  • You identify key territories and key accounts for growth. You develop, manage and support the sales channels. You assure continuous business growth in these markets.
  • You realize sales targets by prospecting, building a healthy funnel and close deals with a high degree of autonomy.
  • You analyze the customers’ needs and provide the appropriate value proposition in return.
  • You provide quotations and negotiate contract terms and conditions in accordance with the guidelines and contract administration objectives.
  • You provide regular forecasting, market intelligence and competitive analysis.
  • You continuously test the Synergi value proposition with prospects, exploring ways to enhance value for the prospect and Barco.
  • You assist and participate in congresses, tradeshows and events within your region.
  • You facilitate and foster international working relations with US Business development counterparts within the company
  • You keep up-to-date records in the company's CRM system
 

We are looking for a Barco colleague who:

  • Has at least a Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering, Medical) or equivalent in combination of education and experience
  • Has at least 5 years proven sales & prospecting experience in healthcare related industry/technology where software is an important aspect
  • Having experience with a channel-based business approach and SaaS business models is a nice to have
  • Is dynamic, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, hard-working, tech-savvy and self-motivated
  • Can work in matrix organization and in an international environment with a high degree of autonomy
  • Is fluent in English and at least one of following languages: French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese.
  • Is willing to travel on a regular basis (+/- 50 per cent of your time), primarily in Europe.
  • Is located in one of the following countries: Belgium, UK, France, Netherlands or Germany.
