The Business Health Project Manager is responsible to analyze the project scope, define the project plan, define and setup the team and lead the different workstreams or workstream leaders within his/her project.

The project manager will as well lead the project and report to the steering committee, as he/she will also dive into certain topics and drive the discussions together with the team.

 

The project manager will run the project in a structured way, according to a number of existing templates and structures, but will also look for improvements and enhancements of the structure.

 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
The project manager will:
  • participate in pre-project phase in order to define the project scope and plan
  • define the project scope
  • define the project structure and team
  • define the meeting structure and lead the project team meetings
  • define the project budget and track costs
  • report to the steering committee
  • link closely to the rest of the organization and relate to the right Barco processes and structure
  • coordinate and manage the implementation of the improvement, integration and/or carve out, together with all relevant stakeholders
  • manage and report or escalate on relevant risks

We are looking for a new colleague who

Depending on the level of experience, the project manager will either first run a number of less complex projects in coordination with one of the existing project managers, or will immediately lead a full integration/carve out project.

Experience:
  • Languages: fluent in English;
  • Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking;
  • Strong in communication and conflict management;
  • Experience in Project Management and Operational processes;
  •  Profound knowledge of Barco Processes and Organization is a plus
  •  Prior successful experience (within Barco) in similar project management assignments, as acquisition or JV integration manager, carve out manager or process improvement projects is preferred
  •  Technical (Entertainment) background is a plus
 Competencies:
 
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently
  • Negotiation, mediation and communication skills
  • Occasional foreign travel may be required
  • Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills, be capable of driving indirect reports. Experience with managing people is desirable;
  • Has genuine interest in process improvements;
  • Accurate and detail oriented.
