As Business Process Expert you will be responsible for leading the description, analysis and mapping of best practice sales processes and operations with tool functionality, development and implementation, and this in a global perspective. The function plays a key role in the change management of new ways of working, and supervises the process quality and adoption within the tools and IT systems in order to maintain a flawless operation and optimal performance of the global sales operations.
You will be working closely together with the Business Process Owners (Sales) and a Project Leader.
Key Responsibilities
  • You assure that the Business Process Owner receives the required business and process input for proper decision making in strategic sales operation matters.
  • Within the strategic vision of the operations as owned by the Business Process Owner, you play a leading role in the decision making around and set-up/maintenance of best practice processes.
  • You develop and implement effective and efficient processes to ensure that a high- quality service can be provided to both local and global accounts.
  • You make sure that all relevant business flows are covered taking supporting a lean mindset of standardization, simplification, harmonization and Total Cost of Ownership.
  • You actively contribute to the definition of new ways of working and processes in line with, and support of new business requirements/models.
  • You are the champion in best practice sales process descriptions.
  • You drive adoption and change management with all sales teams (external / internal) to ensure that agreed system development plans are properly and timely executed.
  • Consult other people/Business Process Experts if needed to make sure the proposed way of working is OK for all parties involved. (e.g. all regions, all divisions, other integrated processes)
  • You assure that key users are adequately trained to fulfill their role.
  • You active follow-up on key users in activities assigned to them, and support key users if needed.
  • You coordinate between operations and IT implementation/development teams to make sure the agreed processes are properly implemented and supported in the different IT tools and systems. 
  • You closely follow-up on all system new development requests, incidents and change requests.


We are looking for a new colleague who

  • Has a technical Master’s degree, or equivalent through experience;
  • Has minimum 5 years in a sales environment with demonstrated change track achievements and a strong IT background. Also candidates who are working in IT consultancy roles, are welcome to apply;
  • Has strong technical and analytical competencies, combined with broad IT-skills;
  • Shows thorough process knowledge and have a passion for process excellence;
  • Is a strong communicator, with the social skills to connect with key(users), project people, IT community and external consultants.
  • Is able to set priorities and demonstrate excellent organizing, planning and problem solving skills;
  • You have influencing skills, training skills and project management skills
  • Has strong presentation skills and are able to present to a wide range of audiences;
  • Is stress resistant and feels comfortable in a coordinating role.
  • Knowledge of or experience with CRM packages and/or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • You will be located in Belgium, but travel up to 30% of your time for international deployment (US, China,..)
