We are currently hiring for a Consultant Liaision to join our sales team within our Enterprise division.  For this position we are seeking candidates that reside in the NYC area.


We are currently hiring an experienced Consultant Liaison located in the New York City area. We are looking for a person that has a great understanding of the Professional Audio Video (AV) as well as workplace unified communications (UC). Candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining Consultant Relationships as well as document and track project opportunities. Target customers are high level consultant/engineer types and the objective is to build credibility with the Barco productlines to get specified into projects. The to be hired individual shall thrive also on his technical and market knowledge. We seek a Manufacturer Liaison with the ability to talk effectively in front of small and large crowds on technically specific topics. Primarily focused around first and foremost corporate unified communication and collaboration technology, video wall technology such as LCD and LED, projection Video Projection and other.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a resource for assisting in designing Corporate A/V Systems, identify where Barco fits and excels in Consultant Specifications.
  • Leverage Barco’s NYC demo center and be capable to demonstrate Barco’s solutions
  • Knowledge of the complex selling environment in the AV and IT industries is a must.
  • Able to express technology and market thought leadership to build credibility with consultants.


We are looking for a Barco employee who

  • Industry Certifications are certainly a plus. i.e. CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, CCNA
  • At least 2 years in a similar role, 4 years in the AV and/or IT/UC
  • Engineering/Technical Degree or additional years of applicable experience, System Designer, Technical Trainer etc.
  • Self-starter and technically minded
  • Experienced in delivering highly technical information to engineering customers
  • Flexibility to travel
