Function
 

You are responsible to support the sales organization and the partners/customers with expert know-how on the Barco products through training, demo’s or the development of sales tools that support the conversations throughout the sales journey. As the liaison between Sales and Product Management/marketing, you also collect key customers and user insights and feed them back to the product base

 
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • You support the sales teams in product demos, shoot-outs & the sales process by taking ownership of the technical setup of the demo’s/shootouts and answering technical questions of partners or customers during the presales process.
  • As a product specialist, you support the sales teams with answers to technical and commercial “specialist” questions. You are the go-to person for specific questions related to product specs, use and performance.
  • As a product specialist you own and take charge of completing RFQs (Request For Quotation) or RFIs (Request For Information) for large customer projects.
  • You work with Sales to determine the sales support tools needed. You identify the most effective assets and manage/own the creation of these assets in cooperation with product management and product marketing.
  • You collect insights and feedback on products from customers and partners and feed them back to the product managers.
  • You collaborate with colleagues in Product Marketing, Product Management and Training on the creation of training and marketing materials for internal and external Sales. Where needed you created customized training material & you give trainings yourself as well.
  • You create templates to standardize presentations and communications, including playbooks, solution guides, product presentations, conversation guides, ...
  • You measure the sales enablement activities to quantify the impact and success of materials and the overall program.

  • You have excellent presentation and communications skills (oral & written). You are able to bring a message in a very clear and understandable way both when presenting as when making sales tools and collateral
  • You have affinity with technical aspects of a product range and are willing to learn
  • You are a real team player and you are good at interacting with sales teams and product management
