As a Product Specialist you will be an expert in delivering our valued ClickShare experience with simplicity and ease-of-use. You are responsible to support the sales organisation and the partners/customers with expert know-how on the Barco products through training, demo’s or the development of sales tools that support the conversations throughout the customer journey. As the liaison between Sales, Service and Product Management/marketing, you also collect key customers, competitor and user insights and feed them back to the product base.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a product specialist, you support the sales teams with answers to technical and commercial “specialist” questions. You are the go-to person for specific questions related to product specs, use and performance. You support the key account sales teams and the project responsible with any product specific questions.
  • You lead and share your expertise about our products and their deployment in both an AV and IT environment with the teams – developing a best practise. You assist the regional teams in creating and supporting a product adoption plan for our customers.
  • You work with the segment and product marketing responsible to determine the sales support tools needed. You identify the need for training & marketing materials, demo videos and competitor analysis and take ownership of the creation of these tools. You are able to deliver a training yourself as well.
  • You regularly brief sales, project management and service teams on our product innovations and roadmap.
  • You support the sales teams in trade-shows, product demos, shoot-outs & the sales process by taking ownership of the best practice in setup in cooperation with regional sales and service teams.
  • You contribute to discussions with our alliance partners sharing product expertise and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
  • You collect insights and feedback on our products from customers and partners and feed them back to the product managers and R&D teams – you actively follow-up critical deployments and issues ensuring the right priorities are set.
  • You help translating market requirements towards technical requirements leveraging your product expertise and IT domain knowledge
  • You proactively support and communicate towards customers, partners and colleagues with the adequate level of information on new products, product updates or important changes.





We are looking for a new colleague who

  • Has a customer first mentality (both for internal as external customers).
  • Has experience with corporate deployments and networks preferably within an IT organisation – understands the language of IT
  • Has excellent presentation and communications skills (oral & written). You are able to bring a message in a very clear and understandable way both when presenting as when making sales tools and collateral
  • Has affinity with technical aspects of a product range and are willing to learn
  • Has a commercial mind-set and is a problem solver
  • Is an expert in your products and market segments. You have a deep understanding of how the product works, what the value proposition of the product is to the customers and how the product is used
  • Is a real team player and you are good at interacting with sales, services and market-ing teams and product management
  • Is willing to travel when required
  • Is fluent in Dutch and English
