The Inventory/ WCAP Project Manager is responsible for gathering and interpreting a collection of company data to generate reports, and monitor performance to improve efficiencies and drive improvement efforts within the Sales & Operations Planning process for the Entertainment department.

As our Inventory/WCAP Project Manager, you:

  • manage the inventory:
    • you determine required inventory levels based on sales requirements and supply possibilities
    • you follow up on the worldwide inventory
    • you suggest and follow-up on actions to reduce worldwide inventory
    • you follow-up actively in reduction programs of slow moving and obsolete (end-of-life) inventory and in reduction programs of inventory provisions
    • Financial Inventory forecasting both on a global as site level
  • maintain and manage Sales & Operation Tools:
    • you maintain Master data, and coordinate with IT on availability and extra requirements
    • you assist in the phase-in and out of products from a Supply Chain point of view (track global inventories, sales demo's, alignment with product management, sales & R&D…)
  • collect, analyze and report on supply chain business data to senior management
  • manage operational follow up for peripherals:
    • you determine requirements with sales
    • you work with purchasing and operations to get the goods
    • you deploy & follow-up on inventory

We are looking for a Barco employee with… 

  • higher degree, preferably combined with 1-5 years’ analytics experience (financial experience a plus)
  • strong knowledge of Excel
  • strong analytical skills & able to drive meaningful actions from large data sets
  • excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • motivating and collaborative personality, but able to stand ground
  • strong influencing & decision making skills
  • (APICS certification is an advantage)
  • (understanding of data warehouse structures is an advantage)
