Function
As a Service Coordinator, you are in charge of repairs, warranty swaps , invoicing of service interventions, sales of spare parts and stock transfer orders for the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

For repairs:
  • You are in contact with the service helpdesk for the new request
  • You create quotations for repairs when necessary and follow-up till approval/rejection.
  • You perform daily follow-up on the status of ongoing repairs.
  • You coordinate the shipments of repaired units.
  • You send out the invoice

For (warranty swaps):
  • You are in contact with the service helpdesk for the new request
  • You coordinate the shipments of the material
  • You follow-up the return of defective material
  • You send out the invoice when relevant

For invoicing of service interventions:
  • You are in contact with the service helpdesk for the new request
  • You create quotations for the intervention and follow-up till approval/rejection.
  • You coordinate the planning of the intervention with the service planning and inform the customer.
  • You send out the invoice

For sales of spare parts:
  • You create quotations for the requested parts
  • When the purchase order has been received, you create the sales order in the ERP system.
  • You follow-up the availability of the purchased spare parts, if required with the planning department
  • You create the invoice when material has been shipped
For stock transfer orders:
  • You are in contact with Barco National Organizations
  • You process the Stock Transfer Orders in the ERP system.

We are looking for a Barco employee who…

  • has at least a bachelor degree and experience in a similar position, preferably in an international, industrial environment
  • can work independently and has the necessary maturity and skills to communicate with customers and other (internal) stakeholders to send the process in the correct direction
  • has excellent organization skills and can keep an excellent overview of your tasks
  • is computer literate and fluent in Dutch, English and French knowledge of other languages is an important asset
  • is temporary available due to maternity leave: from June 2019 till January 2020
