We are currently seeking a LED System Architect to join our team.


  • Interface with product management, engineering, procurement, sales, project mgt to define the internal tools and processes that are required to improve the commercial process
  • Train the regional solution architect teams on new products, new tools, pricing…
  • Be the escalation point of the regional solution architect teams for specific deals or requests and be the interface towards product management, engineering, procurement…
  • Collect competitive information and other market intelligence from deals and projects and disseminate internally
  • Have visibility on the major projects funnel globally and report to management
  • Regularly interfaces with the sales person or accompanies the sales person on customer visits to understand the customer/partner needs
  • fully understand the customer requirements and translate the requirements into a Barco solution.
  • Verify with the customer if the Barco solution is fully in line with the customer expectations
  • Work closely together with product management, engineering, sales, project mgt to define new system/solution that will meet the customer needs
  • Is responsible for collecting cost in preparation of price setting
  • Propose and communicate the solution to the customer
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously



  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree/MBA preferred


  • Experience in technical product application, pre-sales or field service/sales engineering
  • You have a solid technical background and an understanding of complex products and solutions
  • You have a commercial mindset and you are able to actively listen to customers/partners/sales to understand their real needs and define the optimal solution for it
  • Perform multiple complex assignments at the same time and on schedule. Detail oriented, well organized, efficient with time management
  • You have excellent communications skills and you are able to bring a message in a very clear and understandable way
  • You have a customer first mentality (both for internal as external customers) and you have a commercial mindset with a drive to win deals and projects
  • You have a broad sense of ownership, you are action orientated and you want to solve problem
  • Natural integrator, easily collaborating with stakeholders from across the company like engineering, product management, service, sales…
  • You are a team player – willingness to win together and help each other out, ability to cooperate with the different stakeholders in the organization
  • Empathetic to buyers, customers, users and sales resources
