You lead the teams designing, supporting and developing the core Barco Back office systems. Most of these are based upon SAP. Your main accountabilities include the following:

You manage the Portfolio of the Business applications for Barco:
  • Resource management;
  • Portfolio definition and execution, in alignment with PMO;
  • Budget management for RUN/Support as well as projects;
  • Cooperation with BDA’s/Enterprise architect/Development on integration;
  • Understanding of the functional behavior and interdepencies of the applications and the necessary interfacing between the different applications.

You coach a team of Business Domain Architects and Functional Analysts to ensure they are motivated, engaged and perform at their best. You lead them to:

  • Manage application life cycles (including upgrades,...);
  • Design solutions to business problems and requirements;
  • Develop/configure the solutions;
  • Operate the Change & Release process;
  • Review operations;
  • Support the applications;

You timely assure competent team members by working closely together with internal and external providers, proactively managing cost and efficiency of the workforce.

You translate the Barco strategy and vision in every day objectives for and the approach of the teams.


We are looking for a new colleague who

  • You have a proven expertise in bridging Business and IT requirements with knowledge of ERP implementations (preferably SAP).
  • You are experienced in agile and waterfall projects with Business Users across Business Processes, Systems, Data and analytics.
  • You preferably also have experience in leading teams directly.
  • You are a change manager, actively supporting people to change mindset, way of working and way of collaboration.
  • You have experience across multiple process areas.
  • You have participated in several projects in different roles (as team member, project leader, …)..
  • You have a drive for results, ensure execution, are strong in engaging & inspiring and in building relationships & promoting collaboration.
  • You are able to influence others, build talent, lead courageously and nurture a culture of trust.
