Purpose of the job

 

As a Senior Presales Engineer you will be an expert in delivering our valued visualization experience with simplicity and ease-of-use.

You are responsible to support the sales organization, partners, consultants and strategic customers with expert know-how on the Barco solutions.

Through technical expertise, demonstrations, and training you will support the conversations throughout the customer journey.

 

Main accountabilities

 

1. Interface regularly with the sales or accompany them when required on visits to understand the customer/partner needs.

2. Translate customer requirements towards a technical solution. Propose and communicate the solution to the customer.

3. Provide technical product presentations and trainings to our customers, partners and consultants to demonstrate how Barco solutions and services meet their needs.

4. Collect insights and feedback on our products from customers and partners and feed them back to the product managers and R&D teams. Actively follow-up critical deployments and issues ensuring the right priorities are set.

5. Assist the sales team in preparing technical proposals for tenders.

6. Proactively support and communicate towards customers and partners with the adequate level of information on new products or product updates.

7. Work on multiple customer/partner accounts simultaneously.
