Overview
We are currently hiring a Consultant Liaison for Barco’s Immersive Experience group to grow opportunities in corporate AV. We are looking for a person who has an understanding of Professional Audio-Video (AV) technologies and will become passionate about supporting the image processing and projection market. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining Consultant Relationships as well as documenting and tracking project opportunities. Target customers are AV/IT consultancies, engineering firms, and specialty design groups, with the objective to build credibility for the Barco product lines and to get these best-in-class products specified into projects. Primary product lines include projection and image processing, with a focus on the corporate AV market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be a resource for assisting in designing of corporate spaces and identify where Barco fits and excels in Consultant Specifications.
- Knowledge of the complex selling environment in the corporate AV space is a must.
- Able to express technology and market thought leadership to build credibility with consultants.
- Experience working with Salesforce
- Ability to build internal relationships across functional lines for design assistance, project hand-off, and customer service/ issue resolution
- Experience in gaining trusted advisor status, presenting to and understanding the value dynamics of the Consultant market
- Working knowledge of project RFP and bid processes
Requirements:
- Industry Certifications a plus (e.g., AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, Cisco CCNA, etc.)
- At least 5+ years in the ProAV corporate market.
- Served in similar consultant-focused role for 2+ years (or equivalent experience of interaction with consultants and specifiers)
- Engineering/Technical Degree or additional years of applicable experience
- Self-starter and technically-minded
- Highly responsive and customer-oriented
- Ability to travel 50%
