About Barco Enterprise
The Barco Enterprise division is at the forefront of innovations in the context of Barco's digital transformation. Specifically, the Connected Media group develops a state-of-the-art, professional cloud software platform to securely process and distribute real-time, high-end media from many sources towards various visualization points. Real-life applications where this platform is being used are, e.g., digital operating rooms in large hospitals, interactive classrooms in business schools and universities, and extensive control rooms.
What am I going to do?
- Analyze technical problems reported via phone, e-mail, or the Barco Service Portal by customers, partners, or Customer Service Engineers.
- Provide feedback to the service requester on the status of the problem, take corrective actions, and anticipate resolution time and estimated cost.
- After verifying technical compatibility, logistical possibilities, and required competencies, resolve issues by ordering the necessary resources, materials, and labor.
- Detect quality issues and forward all relevant information to the appropriate escalation channel.
- Provide information to the rest of the organization in case of an escalation.
- Review the result of corrective actions.
- Perform these tasks according to agreed KPIs and SLAs.
What do we expect from you?
- Be currently enrolled in a master’s degree graduate program specializing in MIS (Management Information Systems), CIS (Computer Information Systems), or Computer Science.
- Be able to work 20 hours a week on-site in Duluth, GA (spring/summer). This is a 6-month internship.
- Be able to work in a team.
- Be able to report status, issues, and progress to a team.
