Logistics Supervisor

 

Seeking an organized, reliable, detail and service-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team! In this position, you will manage warehouse inventory and staff to ensure that our products are stored and shipped in an accurate and efficient manner. Previous warehouse management experience is required.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics
  • Supervise and direct warehouse staff
  • Ensure worker safety as a top priority
  • Lead efforts to continually improve processes through strategic planning, in order to create a more efficient fulfillment system
  • Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products
  • Confirm proper and timely delivery of products to internal and external Customers
  • Supervise inventory counts and accurate completion of tasks per procedures
  • Supervise forklift operations for safe movement throughout the warehouse
  • Maintain warehouse for a neat appearance including straight alignment of stock including pallets and boxes in the racking and in process throughout the warehouse
  • Manage Team for efficient processes and efforts in Shipping, Receiving, Pick, Pull and Inventory auditing
  • Assist in the hiring, training and motivating of new warehouse staff
  • Ensure proper transport, packaging, and placement of products
  • Abide by and enforce facility and FDA rules and state laws and regulations

 

Requirements and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management or related field preferred
  • 5+ years warehouse supervisor / management experience
  • Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
  • Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safely according to company protocol
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • SAP Experience required
  • Flexible schedule, able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
