Channel Event Manager

Barco is seeking an innovative, hands-on, motivated and proactive Event Manager to support and execute initiatives and actions that will drive growth of our Meeting Experience business in the America's Region (for US and Canada).
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and organizing national and local Barco and industry events in the US and Canada (in collaboration with our regional channel and sales teams)
- Creating and executing communication using marketing automation flows (invitations, registrations, reminders, capture attendees, and thank you mails, promotion through social media & other channels)
- Securing the coordination and execution of all related elements (booth space, booth design, organize technology gear needs with field, goodies, transport & logistics products, attendance demand, lead capture and follow up plan)
- Tracking & measuring results vs. KPI’s set for each event
- Administrative execution related to events (cost negotiations, PO creation, quotes, orders, material to submit, etc)
- On-site support during the event when required
- Organize virtual events & webinars
- Set up of webinars using Zoom and other similar tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree– preferably in Marketing and/or Communication
- 5+ years of experience in AV/IT channel events organization/coordination
- Have worked with and built relationships with trade show production companies, booth builders and logistic organizations
- Works well independently, as well as in a team environment and interact with individuals at all levels in the organization
- Ability to bring together key stakeholders to work together collaboratively in executing event and PR activities
- Eager to learn our internal digital tools (Marketo, Zoom, Teams, Zapier, Sitecore, DAM, Salesforce, SAP…)
- Possess project/ event management and tradeshow skills
- Fluent in English (speaking & writing)
- Based in one of the following: Greenville, SC, Charlotte, NC, Tampa FL, Jacksonville, FL, Richmond, VA or Memphis, TN
