Intern/working student: UI prototype development for better user guiding

As an international company with European roots (HQ in Kortrijk, Belgium), Barco has a culture of collaboration across borders and nationalities.
Because we believe diversity leads to more great ideas and drives innovation.
Thanks to our over 3,000 visioneers, we develop unique visualization & collaboration technology that helps professionals accelerate innovation in the healthcare, enterprise and entertainment markets.

Product

Barco is developing large video wall solutions based on LED, LCD and RPC tiled display modules. All display tiles of a video wall are managed by a central video wall manager consolidating all displays. The set up of such a tiled video wall requires a lot of detailed knowledge in different technical disciplines like mechanics, electronics, optics and software. Instead of using large user manuals to describe step by step how to set-up, Barco wants to investigate into a solution of interactive guiding of service technicians based on their skills and dedicated product experience.

To understand the user experience impact an interactive guiding of the service technicians during product setup would create, a proof of concept of a first flow shall be implemented for demonstration purposes and feedback collection.
