Territory Sales Manager DACH: Control Rooms

Location:

Karlsruhe, DE

Join Barco and Shape the Future of Control Rooms in Germany

Due to our continued global growth, Barco is expanding its worldwide sales organization. We are looking for an experienced and driven sales professional to join our team as Territory Sales Manager for the DACH market, with a strong focus on Control Rooms solutions.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing Barco’s presence in targeted markets and strategic accounts. Your mission is to prospect, identify, and develop Control Rooms–related opportunities by building a strong ecosystem of partners, system integrators, consultants, and end users. By establishing and nurturing these relationships early, you will be able to detect, influence, and shape opportunities from the very beginning.

You will actively develop, maintain, and expand a network of partners, enabling them to successfully promote Barco solutions in their respective markets, while continuously growing the partner base to fully leverage the market potential of Barco’s portfolio. The role involves close interaction with local and large system integrators, consultants, and end users across the DACH region.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and self‑motivated professional who combines a strong commercial mindset with a genuine interest in technology. You are hard‑working, tech‑savvy, and energized by building long‑term success, for both customers and partners. Equally important, you are eager to contribute to and share in the positive, collaborative spirit that comes with Barco’s continued success.

  • Experience with KVM or IP solutions and their application within control room environments is highly desirable and will help you quickly make an impact in this role.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners, consultants, and end customers to expand Barco’s market presence.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on Barco Control Rooms solutions and related technologies.
  • Own the end‑to‑end sales process, including opportunity qualification, quote creation, CRM pipeline management, proposal development and negotiation, and closing commercial agreements.
  • Identify, develop, and onboard new customers and opportunities within the partner ecosystem.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships, both directly and in close collaboration with local partners.
  • Maximize opportunity conversion by actively supporting partners and customers throughout all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Monitor funnel performance and provide accurate forecasting, market insights, and competitive intelligence to sales management, segment marketing, and product teams.
  • Drive growth by addressing new markets and increasing Barco’s share of wallet through solution‑led selling.
  • Represent Barco at trade shows, industry events, and regional customer engagements.
  • Translate customer requirements into tailored Barco solutions and compelling value propositions.
  • Participate in regular training sessions at Barco HQ in Belgium and proactively deliver product updates and training to local partners.
  • Travel internationally as required to support business objectives.
  • Work in a structured and disciplined way, with strong focus on CRM hygiene, lead follow‑up, and efficient travel planning.
  • Collaborate effectively in a matrix organization across functions, regions, and cultures.

We are looking for a Barco colleague who brings:

  • A university degree in business, marketing, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A strong blend of commercial and technical skills, with a passion for continuous learning.
  • A confident, outgoing, and proactive personality, able to work independently, reliably, and flexibly without ongoing guidance.
  • A proven track record in technology and solution sales.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding of the market landscape.
  • Experience in selling solutions that include software and services.
  • Unquestionable integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong German language skills and the ability to work effectively in English.
