Business Development Manager Healthcare

Within our Healthcare division, you will prospect, identify and develop new sales opportunities for the service portfolio. Together with your colleague business development managers, you promote and build awareness of the services portfolio with Barco customers and you support our channel partners in selling these services. 

This role is part of the EMEA Healthcare Central Sales & Marketing Group and reports to the Sales Director.

Key responsibilities:


  • You develop a sales plan that ensures attainment of orders and sales goals for services. 
  • You execute the plan and build a market position in services by actively selling services to Barco customers (indirect channel model) in close collaboration with the sales & services team.
  • You develop the services market for further growth by awareness creation & active promotion of Barco service concepts with customers and end-customers.
  • You ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded by understanding customer needs (consultative selling) and proposing appropriate solutions (setting clear customer expectations).
  • You act as an internal champion for services to Barco sales and division teams.
  • You build a strong funnel, converting to orders & meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • You provide monthly forecasts and reports to sales management.
  • You share customers & market insights within Barco teams as upstream information to ensure maximal visibility on customer & market needs.


Your profile:


  • You hold a Master degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have 3-5 years of proven business development / sales experience in Healthcare.
  • You have strong prospecting and consultative sales skills.
  • Together with your technical affinity, your strong drive will allow you to succeed.
  • You are fluent in English. Additional knowledge of German and French is a plus.
