Commercial Operations Coordinator (m/v/x) – Saronno or Kortrijk
As Commercial Operations Coordinator you are a part of the EMEA customer operations team which manages the order to cash activities, in close collaboration with other Barco teams. You are the point of contact for specific customers and markets with regards to order fulfilment. You receive customer orders and ensure a smooth registering, processing, planning, shipment and invoicing, while keeping the customer and sales manager adequately informed.
Your Responsibilities:
You represent the customer in the Barco internal organization and translate their requirements into concrete deliverables (e.g. timing, material needs, shipping requirements...).
You are responsible for:
- the order acquisition and fulfilment process, and related administration
- follow-up on shipment & delivery of goods
- correct and timely invoicing.
- communicating, organizing and proper follow up of contractual required documents like COO, L/C’s, Bank guarantees,…
In your role, you will be the main liaison between our external sales team & the different internal departments who are supporting order fulfilment from their areas of expertise.
- Together with the credit control department, you follow-up on account receivables and you initiate the necessary actions to solve payment issues.
- You inform colleagues in case additional services are sold
- You are in close contact with following departments in order to fulfil or solve customer requests:
- Service (when additional services are ordered)
- Warehousing
- Traffic
- Sales Planning
- Project team (in case of large installations)
- Product management
Your profile:
- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
- You ideally have experience in a sales or customer service role, interacting with many internal departments in an international organization.
- You work independently and have the necessary maturity, skills and commercial feeling to communicate with costumers and other (internal) stakeholders.
- You are pc literate and ideally have worked with an ERP system before (such as SAP).
- You are bilingual (Italian and English). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You like working in a team and feel comfortable juggling different priorities and sometimes changing workload.
- You demonstrate a supportive attitude to the sales team, to assist in the acquisition and maintenance of new and existing customers.
