Digital Marketing Strategy Manager

As a Digital Marketing Strategy Manager, you are responsible to elevate Barco's digital marketing presence to the next level. In this exciting new position, you act as a change ambassador and expert advisor towards colleagues in marketing and the broader Barco organization. You are accountable to maximize the ROI of the website and other digital channels. You recommend and transfer your know-how about building & optimizing (digital) journeys toward marketing and business stakeholders to achieve business goals. You keep a constant and consistent customer-centric approach in mind, and you are capable to translate the provided organizational KPI’s into proper marketing actions. You are also capable to derive actionable insights from our digital reporting. You will also act as project manager for significant digital marketing related projects, such as a revamp of our website presence. 
 
You will be part of the Global Corporate Marketing team, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager. You will join an energetic, innovative, and goal-oriented team of digital professionals.

 


Key responsibilities

 

  • You maximize the ROI of the website and other digital channels to achieve the given goals 
  • You establish best practices in digital marketing throughout the company  
  • You team up with domain specialists and business stakeholders on the implementation of our digital strategies towards common business goals 
  • You recommend & transfer your know-how about building & optimizing (digital) journeys with our business: 
    • You advise on best (digital) marketing channel mix to achieve business goals 
    • You represent the customer by acting customer-centric first and by applying your expertise for detecting friction and for suggesting improvements  
    • You constantly keep an eye when user expectations are fulfilled and tweak/optimize when relevant  
    • You interpret data from all digital platforms available and leverage this for improvements in journeys and goals 
    • You monitor the market and similar companies 
  • You act as project manager for significant digital marketing projects such as a website redesign, to be high quality, on time and within budget 

 


Your profile

 

  • You have a Master's degree in Digital Marketing, Strategy, Business Administration or similar area
  • You have minimum 3-5 years proven work experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
  • You have experience with
    • Customer journey mapping & prioritization
    • Marketing automation program & (digital) marketing campaign management
    • Website redesign project management
    • Dashboard implementation and optimization
  • You have the ability
    • to work with, and align senior stakeholders in various businesses and regions 
    • to provide a vision and act a digital marketing ambassador
  • You have analytical skills and a critical minset - able to build a roadmap and prioritize
  • You have excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills 
  • You have budget management experience, also working with agencies
  • You have extended experience working with CRM data and systems, UX, Website design, A/B and multivariate experiments, tracking and social media 
  • You have broad digital marketing knowledge such as Website reporting (preferably Google Analytics), Paid search, SEO, Marketing Automation, Content marketing
  • You have knowledge of the current and emerging digital trends
  • You are comfortable working in a cross-functional and matrix organisation 
  • You are a critical thinker whilst demonstrating a problem-solving attitude
  • You are a team-player and self-starter, motivated to set and achieve goals and take initiatives
