Digital Transformation Manager

The Digital Transformation Manager plays a pivotal role in defining, implementing and driving adoption of the digital roadmap, for all commercial business processes. You will be responsible for establishing and managing a strategic partnership with the Business Units, the IT organization and other teams in Commercial Operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in system integration, digital transformation and technology solutions. Together with their team they will ensure cross-functional collaboration to align digital initiatives with business objectives. The location for this function is Barco Kortrijk.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital roadmap that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives, reviewing existing processes and new business models and platforms.
  • Act as the point of contact and as Business Process Owner for commercial processes from lead capturing till revenue generation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of business process experts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of digital solutions, ensuring they meet user needs and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement; drive uniformity and consistency in processes across different business units and regions.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Monitor the performance and adoption of the digital solutions, adjusting as necessary to optimize its effectiveness.
  • Allocate resources, manage budgets, and mitigate risks associated with the different digital projects.
  • Effectively communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to diverse audiences.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or similar discipline
  • 5+ years of proven, progressive experience in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Track record of success in working with and leading change, leading improvement of the business process required to scale the business. 
  • Must be process and metrics oriented, well-organized, and be highly motivated, self-directed with the ability and desire to have an impact on an organization.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and customers while maintaining clear lines of communication with individuals based on a high degree of trust and credibility.
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills combined with sound judgment.
  • Knowledge of or experience with CRM packages and/or ERP systems is an advantage. 
  • Experience with program and/or project management methodologies is an advantage.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.
