Field Marketing Manager Healthcare for Europe & Global marketing lead for Surgical Imaging

The function

 

As Healthcare Field Marketing Manager, you contribute to your market(s) growth by building, implementing, measuring, learning, and optimizing the marketing plan for your market(s).

You have two main responsibilities: for one of the main segments build, orchestrate and/or execute the global plan, and next to that you plan & implement all Healthcare activities for Europe. You know like no other what your market and partners require, to translate that into marketing objectives and priorities and to plan and execute high performance marketing campaigns accordingly.  

You are part of the Global Marketing team, based in Kortrijk and report to the Regional Marketing Director, based out of Singapore.

 

Key responsibilities

 

Global Field Marketing lead for a dedicated Healthcare segment (Surgical Imaging)

  • For your lead segment, you define the global field marketing plan. You align with sales globally and define the common global priorities, next to the regional needs.
  • You will work with the regional field marketing managers to come to an aligned and integrated marketing plan for each region to achieve maximize marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You ensure regular and broad stakeholder management to keep the pulse of the business and adapt & optimize plans where and when relevant

Regional marketing planning and execution for Healthcare (Surgical & Diagnostic Imaging) for Europe

  • You build the marketing plan based on business objectives and marketing priorities for Barco’s Healthcare business. You develop specific launch goals, plans and strategies to support the sales & growth objectives for your region 
  • You cover the broad scope of marketing activities/campaigns, including events, media & PR, AdWords, online / social advertising, digital marketing, market research, … 
  • You manage the channel marketing activities, with a strong focus on channel communication and lead generation 
  • You manage the end-to-end lead process, constantly looking at ways to improve the intake and conversion of the lead funnel by e.g. developing nurturing process to turns prospects into customers and upsell or cross sell existing customers on new solutions & services.  
  • You identify customers who are willing to participate in testimonials, case studies or references. Capture share stories and advocate in a variety of programs.  
  • You manage the budget

Strong business and continuous improvement mindset

  • You become the subject matter expert for your market(s): you understand the market & customer needs and feed these insights to headquarters to ensure the region’s future performance 
  • You align with and secure buy-in from multiple stakeholders, including sales and HQ BU marketing 
  • You monitor campaign success and business contribution and drive continuous improvement. You are driven by campaign impact on pipeline and revenue, by achievement of individual program goals, by campaign project performance and by stakeholder satisfaction
     

 

 

Your profile

 

Education: 

  • Master in Marketing or equivalent by experience

Experience & competencies: 
Skills: 

  • Strong business acumen; deep understanding of the market & customer base and market problems & problems customers face 
  • Knowledge in healthcare industry specifically Diagnostic and Surgical Imaging is a plus but not mandatory
  • Held global responsibilities with experience in working with regions including America, EMEA or Asia Pacific 
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills 
  • Indepth understanding of key business metrics; Analytical with the ability to gather data, synthesize the data and tell a story 
  • Solid strategic insights and strong action focus 
  • Sales oriented thinking 
  • Shows understanding of customer base and the problems they face

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms is a plus
