Head of Sales Learning Experience EMEA

We are currently looking for a Sales Leader to manage (and grow) our EMEA sales team within our Learning Experience division. This individual will be responsible for driving sales in EMEA for our virtual learning solutions.

 


Key Responsibilities
 

  • You develop a sales plan that ensures attainment of sales goals;
  • You personally, support and grow a number of strategic accounts;
  • You implement a sales model strategy that is appropriate for the related products and services;
  • You are responsible for the performance, development and growth of the sales organization;
  • You consolidate sales and logistics forecasting from sales; 
  • You coordinate with other departments in the company to maximize sales;
  • You create a 'customer first' environment;
  • You assist sales executives with complex sales situations when needed;
  • You are accountable for/manage and interpret data entry into the CRM to track business opportunities and performance of the sales executives through personal communication;
  • You manage the sales pipeline and forecasting activities through corporate CRM;
  • You manage and cooordinate quoting and contractual activities of the sales team;
  • You manage processes for developing and negotiating proposals, sales quotations, and commercial agreements;
  • You communivate effectively the company’s value proposition with key decision makers; 
  • You will collaborate globally with Barco colleagues and stakeholders from different regions and departments;
  • You will report to the Global VP Sales for Learning Experience.

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • You have 7+ years of experience leading a sales organization focusing on cloud-based SaaS solution selling, ideally within the higher education market and/or corporate L&D;
  • You have experience leading remote sales teams;
  • You preferably have prior experience establishing relationships with integrators;
  • You demonstrate a strong background using CRM and sales forecasting tools;
  • You have relevant experience with sales forecasting to optimize overall company performance;
  • You are passionate about working in a truly global /international team;
  • You are able to travel as required within the EMEA region (at least 50% of the time).
