Internship - Build, Refactor, Test, and Improve the Barco CTRL UI

Barco CTRL consists of several frontend applications that are used to configure, monitor, and control our system. During this internship, you will join one of the feature teams and help improve one of these applications.
The work can range from refactoring existing code to implementing completely new features. A large part of the job is visualizing data coming from backend APIs and presenting it in a clear and user-friendly way.
What you'll do
- Help build and improve the Barco CTRL frontend.
- Work in a small team (4-5 people) with many other teams
- Discuss and refine ideas for new features and improvements.
- Prioritize and refine work together with the team.
- Implement frontend functionality in Angular and TypeScript.
- Refactor existing code where needed.
- Write automated tests to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Review and validate your work together with experienced software engineers.

What we're looking for
- You're currently studying Computer Science, Informatics, Electronics, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's level).
- You have a good understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- You enjoy building user interfaces and solving technical problems.
- You're eager to learn and work as part of a software development team.
Nice to have
- Experience with Angular.
- Experience writing unit or component tests.
- Familiarity with Git.
