Internship: Communication & Social media content creator

Internship Social media 

You’ll monitor and feed Barco’ s social media channels. You are on site in HQ to take pics & videos which you then turn into engaging reels and social media posts. You know how to take attractive pictures and shoot video in an efficient way and following the latest trends. You’ll also help with global marketing projects. 

• You are a student in the field of (Digital) Marketing or Communications. 

• Strong communicator who likes to interact with various stakeholders across different divisions and cultures 

• Independent thinker who plays well with a team 

• Outgoing personality who gets things done and is eager to learn 

• Well organized, delivering against promise and able to handle various projects simultaneously 

• Proficient knowledge of social media platforms (esp. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) 

• Experience with Hootsuite or other social media management tools 

• Experience with Canva and the Adobe portfolio are a plus 
   

Internship Internal communications 

You will assist in creating engaging and informative content for internal communication channels, including newsletters and email communications. 

You’ll support the planning and execution of internal events, such as town hall meetings and employee activities. You’ll assist in maintaining and updating our company intranet by posting news, articles, and other relevant information. You’ll collaborate with various departments and teams to gather content and ensure consistent messaging across the organization. 

• You are a student in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and software is a plus. 

• Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take initiative when necessary. 

• Enthusiasm for internal communications and a desire to learn and grow in the field. 

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Internship Communications 

You will play a crucial role in shaping our external communication efforts. You will write/edit press releases and news articles. You’ll support our media outreach efforts and monitor/report on our media coverage. In addition, you’ll help with the coordination/execution of corporate events and other global marketing projects.  
 

• You are a student in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. 

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 

• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills. 

• Familiarity with media databases and communication tools is a plus. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Enthusiasm for communications, public relations, and events. 

• Creative thinking and the ability to generate new ideas for communication strategies.
