Internship: Exploration of generative AI for video conferencing (Innovation)

The task at hand 

With the rapid advancement of AI technology, we aim to integrate AI capabilities into our products. As ClickShare is a video conferencing solution, it is essential to explore how AI can enhance our conferencing tools. One area of interest is the creation of a digital twin for users during conferences. This feature would be particularly useful for instances when users prefer not to enable their cameras due to reasons such as a messy background or personal discomfort. An accurate digital twin could help reduce the reluctance to use webcams by providing a photorealistic proxy of the user. 

Internship goal:  

The objective of this internship is to investigate the feasibility of creating a digital photorealistic proxy of a user using generative AI. This includes exploring the use case, identifying a suitable technology stack, and developing a proof-of-concept implementation. 

Qualifications

Computer science student with a background in AI, eligible to work at our HQ in Kortrijk, Belgium.
